What are you waiting for?

Today, as I attempted to get my stuff done, I asked God what I should blog about. The answer? Play the video below and I think you’ll understand:

Now, if you’ve taken the time to actually watch the video above, you’re now ANOTHER 1 minute and 20 seconds behind for the day. But what are you exactly behind in doing? That’s the real question!

Read this short passage of Scripture and see if you notice something:

Luke 10:38-42

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching.

But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”

But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

You see: Martha continued to be distracted by “things” – losing her focus, and forgetting that GOD is the one thing necessary. But Mary understood this. She didn’t allow herself to be distracted by worldly things. She focused on God.

Are you focused? What are you focused on? Is it God’s work? Or does something else always distract you from getting God’s stuff done?

What are you waiting for? Help get God’s stuff done today!
