Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ – 2 Cor. 2:14
As we start the New Year, what better way than to thank God for leading us. You see, without a leader, people wander aimlessly in the dark; they flounder. Ever notice how sheep, among themselves, don’t have leaders, and thus wander aimlessly around. They have need for a shepherd.
And we do too. He’s called Jesus Christ. And the great news is: He will lead us in triumph. Last night, I preached on 1 Col. 1:9-11 which discusses Paul’s prayer for the church. This prayer includes a prayer for the church to prosper in their walk and in their work.
Thanks be to God that we can and we will prosper when we follow Him!
