Three men arrive in Heaven for orientation. They are all asked the same question, “When you’re lying in your casket, and friends and family are mourning over you, what would you like to hear them say about you?”
The first guy immediately responds, “I would like to hear them say that I was one of the great doctors of my time, and a great family man.”
The second guy says, “I would like to hear that I was a wonderful husband and school teacher who made a huge difference in the children of tomorrow.”
The third guy thinks for a moment, and then replies “I guess I’d like to hear them say, “Look, he’s moving!”
What will people say about the way you lived your life?
But more importantly…what will Jesus say about your life when you die? Will your name be in the Book of Life? Jesus said about Christians:
I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine. – Revelation 3:5
Do you know Jesus? Have you accepted Him as your personal Lord and Savior? If not, please call out to Him now and ask Him to be yours. It’s as simple as saying a prayer to God that asks for forgiveness of your sins, confesses Jesus as the Son of God, and asks Him to come into your life, into your heart, and lead you in His ways. Don’t wait, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
I know what I would love for the Lord to say, Matt 25:21 – “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
