a comforting reminder

Do you know anyone that doesn’t believe or trust in God? Don’t let another day go by without telling that friend or person about your faith and why it is important for them to believe and trust in God as their Savior. There is a day approaching that will be too late for anyone to open their hearts to Him.

the FINAL note

I love that the Psalmist throughout Scripture recognizes God and gives praises to Him, even in the hardest of times. This Psalmist ends the book with Psalms 146-150. The final verse of each of these Psalms contains this phrase: “PRAISE THE LORD!”

This morning I was reminded during my devotion that humans just sometimes need to see God’s truth in differing ways. Take for instance this passage from 1 Kings 18:39
