Comment on How to Pray by Kimberly

We should also pray on every occasion and in every way we know how. Ephesians 6:18 "Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere."
"How do we pray "at all times" as the bible instructs? With an attitude of thanksgiving and total dependence on God as we go about our everyday lives, turning our thoughts toward Him in the midst of doing all the things we have to do and listening for his voice in every situation." ~Joyce Meyer; "Hearing From God Everyday" Devotional book
When we pray we open up the communication line between us and God in the same way we pick up the phone to call our friend. GOD NEVER HANGS UP. He's always on the other end of the line waiting for us to "tune in" to the conversation. We also have to remember that the phone line isn't a one way road of communication; it isn't just so we can talk to God. We need to be quiet and listen to Him for our answers and not so quick to place the "receiver down" putting Him on hold or even to just "hang up" before we give Him time to speak to us.

I think you should see if you can post the "Letter" video on your blog. Or at least a link to it. That think is powerful!

My grandmother sent something similar to this in an email and I was in a hurry and didn't read anything except the bottom...Anywho, it's just an incredible feeling knowing that God can/has/wants to use me despite my innumerable imperfections. It's also pretty epically amazing to see when God has set up divine appointments and circumstances, that using worldly logic, should not have happened!!

I think in the world the hardest commandments for most of us, even Christians to keep is the "do not lie" and "do not covet." We all lie everyday - yes, the little white ones count and so do the ones you tell to keep from hurting someones feelings. We all want something that someone else has whether it is a object or "I wish I had his/her body!" We are all guilty. The Good News is, we can all be forgiven of those sins!
