Some people just have to have “name brand” clothes. They won’t wear anything else but a certain brand of jeans, or carry anything but a certain brand purse. But is that important, really?

Having problems in your daily walk? Paul, a great servant and disciple of our Lord God, gave us some great advice in the book of Romans:

“Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin….”

“I thank God” … What a way to start a letter! Paul says he thanks GOD for their faith. And what about their faith? It’s so huge that it’s being talked about “all over the world.” That, by itself, could be a great sermon. How great is thy faithfulness (except talking about the human side). I would love to get a letter saying someone thanks God because of me. Wouldn’t you?

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. – Acts 4:12

Some people may be opposed to hearing the statement above. However, it is the absolute truth and was stressed by Jesus as well…

Don’t be like most people and think, “God just doesn’t work through me.” I’ve felt this way before too, but it’s just not true!…
