A Poem
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due. . . .

A Poem Everybody seems to undergo stress in their life. For some, it’s a daily event. For others, it seems to come and go. The same seems true for “persecution.” For some, it’s constant; for others, it comes and goes. Why? I don’t know of a better illustration than what a door represents. We can open the door to Heaven BY TELLING OTHERS ABOUT GOD, or we can hold it shut. It’s our choice. My question to you is will you OPEN the door or hold it SHUT? Unlock the door for others TODAY, don’t wait! It was chilly in Manhattan but warm inside the Starbucks shop on 51st today’s survey says… Thank God! The answer is Jesus Christ our Lord. – Romans 7:25 We often hear stories from people concerning the paranormal. We hear of near-death experiences when people describe a room they visit, or a hallway they walk through that, when described, has attributes we may think of Heaven having: a bright light, a peace, a comfort that only comes from beyond this life. Once a year, we remember to say “Happy New Year!” But why do we only rejoice once a year because of a simple new day that has come our way? Did we really accomplish anything of significance between Dec 31st and Jan 1st? As I mentioned in the previous blog, making a decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior is VERY important. However, the most important thing you’ll ever do is bigger than that. According to John 1: 17 God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. In the news today, there are so many anti-Christian remarks and rulings that makes me wonder what happened to the country our forefathers established in America. What happened to our Freedom of Religion? Or Freedom of speech? |
