			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OK, sometimes I get really upset when certain anti-religious groups try to claim that our Founding Fathers didn&#8217;t believe in God and that &#8221;there is no mention of God in our constitution.&#8221; First of all, there are several phrases that specifically mention religion and the absence of the Federal Government to require any religious affiliation (remember, this was one of our founding beliefs- &#8220;Freedom of Religion&#8221; (Amendment <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>#</strong><strong>1</strong></span>) &#8221;Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or <span style="text-decoration: underline;">prohibiting the free exercise thereof</span>&#8220;). However, the absence of a declaration of God does NOT declare that our founding fathers were atheists. As a matter of fact, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">many if not all</span> were members of a specific denomination, with about 90% being Episcopalian/Anglican, Presbyterian, or Congregationalist in their religious belief (this list is comprised of members from the writers of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Articles of Confederation. Oh, and by the way, the signatory section of the Constitution does indeed reference, and I quote:</p>
<blockquote><p>&lt;signed&gt; done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>our Lord</strong></span> one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven</p></blockquote>
<p>Furthermore, our State Constitutions, which serve to support and clarify our Federal laws, have an overwhelming majority which specifically reference a divine power, specifically God, Our Lord, etc:</p>
<blockquote><p>We, the people of the State of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Alabama</span>, in order to establish justice, &#8230; invoking the favor and guidance of <strong>Almighty God</strong>,</p>
<p>We the people of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Alaska</span>, grateful to <strong>God</strong></p>
<p>We, the people of the State of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Arizona</span>, grateful to <strong>Almighty God</strong></p>
<p>We, the People of the State of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Arkansas</span>, grateful to <strong></strong><strong>Almighty God</strong></p>
<p>&#8230;need I go on&#8230;???</p></blockquote>
<p>and not to mention the Declaration of Independence:</p>
<blockquote><p><big></big><big>W</big>HEN in the course of human events, it becomes necessary<br />
for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature&#8217;s <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>God</strong></span> entitle them&#8230;</p>
<p><big></big><big>W</big>e hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are<br />
created equal; that they are endowed by their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Creator</strong></span>&#8230;</p>
<p><big></big><big>&#8230;W</big>e, therefore, the representatives of the United States<br />
of America, in General Congress assembled, appealing to the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Supreme Judge of the world</strong></span> for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name and by the authority of the good people of these colonies solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, <em>FREE AND INDEPENDENT STATES;</em> that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British crown &#8230;And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Divine Providence</strong></span>, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.</p></blockquote>
<p>Further evidence exists concerning our national founding such as the appointment of Chaplains to Congress, the use of Bible as the primary reading instrument in educational institutions, and the fact that many signers of our original documents received Biblical educational degrees.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Today, as we celebrate the 4th of July, don&#8217;t let the misleading rumors of our </span><span style="color: #0000ff;">Founding Father&#8217;s dispute what youknow in your heart is true. We are, were, <span style="color: #ff0000;">and </span></span><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">always will be a Christian nation, so long as WE THE PEOPLE continue to </span>speak out for OUR LORD!</span></span></strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<blockquote><p>Luke 1:39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”</p></blockquote>
<p>Sure, it is great and awesome that John the Baptist recognized Jesus before either of them was born. Sure, it&#8217;s great that Elizabeth recognized that she was in the presence of the mother of Jesus. But today I simply want to focus on the last passage, &#8220;Blessed is the one who believes in the Lord.&#8221;</p>
<p>That&#8217;s the simple truth of this passage. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">If you believe in the Lord, <em><strong>you will be blessed!</strong></em></span></p>
