How to Pray
The Lord’s Prayer: ‘This, then, is how you should pray:
“Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.”

Pray 4 our leadership

It has become a “he said – she said” party in Washington lately as the President rallies for votes and support on Healthcare. Continue reading

Or He just happened to walk up the stairs of your house and knocked on your bedroom door. You respond by opening the door, and then what? Continue reading

For unto us…
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called

Praise Receipts
Recently, a church member came to me and informed me that she received a blessing from praying to the Lord on a day when she vowed only to “Give Thanks to the Lord” and to ask for nothing in return. I thought to myself – wow!, when we truly commit to doing God’s Will, and ask nothing in return, we in fact DO receive something in return – a mighty blessing. Continue reading
