Pray 4 our leadership

I understand that our government is currently tackling some very tough issues for our nation. However, it is obvious that the split by parties has identified a true weakness of our current system. It has become a “he said – she said” party in Washington lately as the President rallies for votes and support on Healthcare.

so that your prayers may not be hindered…

Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect . . . and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. – 1 Peter 3:7

an interview with Rick Warren

This blog includes a documented short interview with Rick Warren, author of “Purpose Driven Life” and pastor of the very well known large “Saddleback Church” in California.

On fasting…

Recently, there has been a nationwide call to fast and pray for our country. Many people, however, don’t know what it means to fast or how to fast. First of all, Scripture tells us not to be boastful about our fast…
