Five More Minutes
While at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground. “That’s my son over there,” she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide. Continue reading

Sand & Stone

I’ve told my students this before, and it’s so true. The Bible is the “living” Word of God. It speaks to us; we just have to listen. Nor the lights or its decor. Continue reading

Do you hear what I hear?
“I thank God” … What a way to start a letter! Paul says he thanks GOD for their faith. And what about their faith? It’s so huge that it’s being talked about “all over the world.” That, by itself, could be a great sermon. How great is thy faithfulness (except talking about the human side). I would love to get a letter saying someone thanks God because of me. Wouldn’t you?

How much do you love others?
Sometimes we don’t tell friends about Christ, because we think they will get offended by our beliefs. Or maybe we don’t want to “upset” them.
Is there anything wrong with this reasoning? …
