nothing is too hard for the Lord
Today, as I prayed for something to blog about, a recurring theme hit me: Nothing is too hard for [the Lord]. I can’t tell you why this hit me, maybe I needed to hear it. Maybe you needed to hear … Continue reading

why . . .
Why do we use the Bible? Why should we believe in God? “As for God, His way is perfect: The LORD’s Word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him.” Psalm 18:30 Simple . . . , yet … Continue reading

On Witnessing…
Often in church you’ll hear Pastors, Youth Pastors, Evangelists, and others speak about witnessing. They’ll preach ”Go, tell others about God.” They are correct in quoting the Great Commission Matthew 28:19 which reads: Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them … Continue reading

Communication…
Communication? A long word to describe what should be a simple concept, but it is quite hard at times. Have you ever mis-communicated to someone? Text messaging and e-mails are probably the worst forms of communication, because the receiving person … Continue reading

hello… anyone out there?
Today as I bring my blog back on-line, I am reminded of an event in Paul’s life. Shortly after Saul’s (Paul’s) conversion, we learn in Galatians 1:11-18 that he spent three years learning about Jesus. He didn’t learn about Jesus … Continue reading

Are you in denial? re you denying yourself? Or are you denying God? Jesus told us that no servant can have two masters – we must either be serving God or ourselves.

So, in order to spice it up, we answer unique questions like: what was your most embarassing moment, who did you have a crush on when you were little, etc…. This week our question was “If you could go ANYWHERE on vacation, where would it be?” Continue reading

what about you?
Are you worthy? That’s the question of the day…
It was necessary that the Word of God should be spoken to you first, but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. – Acts 13:46

how early is too early?
1 Corinthians 13:13 – “and the greatest of these is love”
Tonight on the radio while driving I heard the poem listed below… And with it being Valentine’s day, it seemed appropriate to comment on love.
“Nice night in June, stars shine, big moon…”

a simple reminder:
